Thinking of becoming a Rally Marshal?
Have you thought of organising a CCNC rally?
The Norfolk Centre is always looking for new people of all ages to help run new rallies.
If you are unsure about the thought of doing this for the first time, then don't worry, we will be pleased to team you up with experienced marshals to assist on a rally and 'find you're feet'.
We all had to start somewhere and this can be really rewarding and enjoyable...
and a way of putting something back onto the Norfolk Centre for the benefit of other members.
Don't worry if you don't know of a suitable site, our committee have many potential locations for rallies and may have one that would suit you.

The marshals that run rallies, do so voluntarily and willingly, ensuring that we all enjoy our caravanning experience.

To assist the Rally Secretary and printers with consistant detail in preparing the rally book it is requested that all rallies proposed are detailed on the appropriate Rally Application Form.
Two copies are required to be submitted no later than the AGM in October of each year preceding the rally year.
The approved Rally Application Forms are provided below which can be downloaded, completed and returned to the Rally Secretary.

This can then either printed and sent by post or emailed to the Rally Secretary at the following email address.

The Norfolk Centre wish to make holding a Rally an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
However as with any public event there a rules and regulations which should be followed.
The Norfolk Centre committee have prepared a guidance sheet to provide help, advice and where applicable the regulations appropriate to running a successful rally.
This is sent out by the Hon. Secretary to all marshals by post.

Rally Guidance Sheet Download
A list of attendees should be displayed on the flagpole and a copy given to your Rally Chairman attending the rally.
This should include the Map Reference and Postcode of the Rally venue, essential to allow ralliers to inform the Emergency Services if required.

The committee recommend that when taking telephone bookings for your rally, you complete a rally slip obtaining all the members appropriate details including their membership number.
This is to ensure that all attendees details and that they are genuine Caravan Club members.

As a Marshal you will need to budget and account for your rally costs.
This need not be a complicated matter.
The Norfolk Centre committee have prepared a guidance sheet to help explain how to account for your expenses and complete the rally Account Sheet as part of a successful rally.

This should be completed and returned within 2 weeks of the rally to the Centre Treasurer, Bryan Aldous to his home address, which you will find in your rally programme.

Most rallies take place successfully and are enjoyed by all. However accidents do happen and in line with the Caravan Club regulations they must be reported at the time to the Incident Contact Centre (ICC) on 0845 300 9923.
The ICC guidelines and incident report form RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) are sent out to all marshals by post by the Hon. Secretary.

To order your plaques please contact the
Plaque Officer - Andy Patterson by email below
with your preferred design, motif and rally details
or by the contact numbers in your rally book.
Note: All plaques orders are required 3 weeks in advance of your rally.
Remember, late ordering may result in delayed delivery especially at Bank Holidays.

Weekend Rally plaques are from Baypress and should be 'T1' or 'T2' shape in light blue.
