Caravan Club National Rally in Norfolk

The 2008 season sees the Caravan Club National Rally being held at Holkham Hall in North Norfolk in May!
As the host Centre, this is a prestigious honour in such a wonderful and befitting location and one in which the Norfolk Centre can be proud.

There will be a working party weekend before the event, but members wishing to help will need to book early to participate.
Chairmans & Junior Rally - reminder!
If you haven't already booked, dont forget the Chairmans & Juniors rally on 27th - 29th June!
This always proves a fantastic rally, with a full weekend of events and activities all for charity!

Fakenham Fireworks Rally - Rally Date Change
Please note, the Fakenham Fireworks Rally weekend has changed to
Friday 31 October - Sunday 2 November.
The Fireworks display will taking place on Saturday 1 November.
2007/8 Chairman & Committee.
Graham Rampley entered his third and final year as Chairman of the Norfolk Centre at the 2007 AGM.
The officers were encouraged by the nominations for the committee positions with some enthusiastic members wishing to stand for office.
Following the return of the Juniors committee last year, the younger members formed a new Juniors committee for the 2nd year and the 2008 season. When published in the new year details can be found in your rally book.

Norfolk Centre wins Club Award!
The Caravan Club has awarded the Norfolk Centre 2nd prize for our 2007 Centenary year Rally Book Cover design in tough competition with all 70 regional centres!
The Caravan Club commended the Norfolk Centre on our Rally Book Cover design, reflecting '100 years' of Caravanning Life and its overall presentation.

Naturally the centre and the committee are delighted with this high achievement.
The Committee has re-introduced the Junior Voucher Scheme for 2006!
All children attending Norfolk Centre rallies will be issued with a card which must be signed by the rally chairman.
For every 5 Norfolk Centre rallies they will be given a £5.00 Argos voucher and when the junior has attended 8 or more rallies their names will be entered into a draw at the natter and chatter for a £20.00 Argos voucher!
How good is that!....
Now you can have earn rewards for having fun on rallies!!

The Norfolk Centre supports voluntary organisations and charities with fund raising events during the course of the year.
This year, 2008, the CCNC has selected the ‘Balloons 4 Hearts’
and
East Anglian Air Ambulance (E.A.A.A.)
The Junior charity is
East Anglian Children’s Hospices (E.A.C.H.)
In 2007, the CCNC raised and donated;
Adults Charities
Macmillan Cancer Support - £ 740
and
the Alzheimer's Society - £ 740
Junior Charity
Lupas - £ 410
These will be presented to representatives of the charities at the Natter & Chatter event on 2nd March
Thank you to all those who contributed both the time and funds to raising this significant amount of funds.

‘Balloons 4 Hearts’
Balloons for Hearts appeal is dedicated to raising £1m for the creation of a new, specialist theatre delivering life-saving treatment for patients accross East Anglia.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (E.A.A.A.)
Since its foundation in 2000, the charity has expanded to provide a 365 day a year service covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Here in East Anglia we need an air ambulance more than ever and the Norfolk Centre are pleased to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Junior Charity
East Anglian Children’s Hospices (E.A.C.H.)
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices offer a range of services to support children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and their families. Care and support is provided in the hospices, in the family home and in other settings.
