Latest Covid Update from East Grinstead

England Covid-19 Lockdown

 

As you will probably be aware the UK Parliament voted to place England into a national lockdown, effective at 12:01 fromThursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December* (*subject to change) to stop the spread of Covid-19. 

 

The Club is advising that during this period there should be no rallies held in England. 

 

Also, during this period it will not be appropriate for you to hold a physical AGM, and if you have an AGM planned during this time you should either delay it or hold it using virtual technology, where the latter would be the preferred option, as that will ensure that all circumstances are covered. 

 

Rallies in Wales are permitted from Monday 9 November, but only for residents of Wales. 

 

We hope that you will support the Club with this decision and understand that we are following the Government guidance and legislation.
