Centre Rules


The following rules apply to all Centre rallies and events:

  1. Membership cards should be carried at all times. Members may be requested to produce evidence of membership at Centre rallies and events.
  2. Properly made lean-to awnings will be allowed.
  3. Separate pup tents are allowed provided that they are pitched as directed by the marshals
  4. Speed limit on rally sites is 5mph (walking pace) and only full licensed drivers are permitted to drive on rally sites.
  5. Domestic animals to be kept under proper control and on a lead of not more than 10 (ten) feet when in the vicinity of the caravans or the flagpoles.
  6. Own sanitation must be provided.
  7. Please take your dry rubbish away with you, unless advised of other arrangements by the marshals.
  8. Members arriving at a rally after 10pm must site themselves in the late arrivals section if required to do so, and will be re-sited the following morning by the marshals Ralliers who book into a rally and cancel or fail to arrive will be responsible for any expenses incurred on their behalf. A standard non-arrival charge will be levied unless the costs incurred exceed this amount, then the total costs incurred will be charged. Failure to pay the cancellation charge will result in the matter being referred to the Centre Committee for further consideration.
  9. Portable generators for personal use are prohibited at weekend rallies. On holiday rallies generators must not be used for a maximum of two hours per day. (The only exception to this rule is in cases of serious medical necessity). All unnecessary noise after 10.30pm should be avoided and the rally field quiet by 11.00pm.
  10. Disc and ball games including Swingball should not be played within the vicinity of caravans and kite flying should be down-wind of the rally field. Use of drones is not allowed on the rally field without prior permission.
  11. The authority for conduct of a rally shall be invested in the Rally Marshal or his assistant and members are expected to comply with the requests made by them. Notify the Marshal as soon as possible if you find you are unable to attend.
